Does anyone else out there get antsy when they're not creating? It's as if you feel stagnant and unable to move forward. After reading Women Who Run with the Wolves (3 times now and if you haven't read it yet stop what you're doing and add it to your Amazon cart right meow) I learned that a woman's creative life has cycles and that you cannot give up on yourself when it feels like the ideas just aren't flowing.
Even something so simple as styling a photo shoot makes me feel like I'm creating something. Having an image in my head, picking the right clothes for the right model and then the perfect location totally gets my creative juices flowing. For instance, I called this the "Snapshot Shoot" because I wanted to show a little glimpse into the model, Victoria's life....we shot at her adorable historical home in Beaufort, NC and had a blast doing this shoot.
And then I got to thinking....the way you live your life is ART... the clothing you put on, the food you cook, the ideas you bring to life...it's all a beautiful, creative expression of yourself...so keep "creating" my beautiful little mermaids.
