About Us

Lotus y la Luna (lotus and the moon) was created by a small town beach girl determined to change the clothing industry one garment at a time. Brooke, the owner, as pictured above, wanted to bring free spirited, bohemian clothing to a broader audience by making it affordable, unique and purpose driven. With every purchase made a portion is donated the Surfrider Foundation dedicated to keeping our oceans clean. 

Living on a boat herself along with her boyfriend Preston who has been an instrumental part of the brand, Brooke has a strong connection to the ocean and doing her part to keep it clean, that includes the clothing...many people don't know that when you wash clothing the pesticides (from cotton) and chemicals from the fabrics are flushed out directly into our bodies of water. So, here at Lotus y la Luna we are working really hard to bring you a new line of STYLISH and AFFORDABLE eco friendly clothes to help reduce our carbon footprint. We just re-launched our Relived Collection of Vintage, designer & gently used goods AND in January of 2021 we opened our first storefront in Atlantic Beach, NC.With love and gratitude we thank you for being a part of this mission.
