The Eco Friendly Gals Guide to Holiday Parties

     It’s November mermaids...which means it’s the start of an array of holiday parties...everything from office get togethers to full blown cocktail attire celebrations....so I’m here to help you with some Eco Friendly Holiday Party Outfits! 
     For more casual get togethers like work or family parties, sweater dresses or a sweater paired with a maxi skirt and boots are great options. For dressier occasions, little velvet numbers are always a personal favorite and your footwear can go a little crazier with strappy heels or over the knee boots.
     As always with eco friendly clothing, sustainability is important....are you going to be able to wear and incorporate these items with other pieces in your existing wardrobe? Can you wear the items for more than one season? Can you dress them up or down? And where were they made? These are all good questions to ask when buying for holiday parties.      Another great option is swapping outfits or borrowing pieces from friends instead of going out to buy a dress and heels you will only wear once. Just because it’s the holidays it doesn’t mean your hard work to live a more sustainable lifestyle has to go out the window 🥂✨
