The Eco Friendly Gals Guide to Holiday Parties Vintage Edition
I’ve been trying to write this damn blog post for a week now so here it finally is. As I’m writing this I’ve got about 57 things on my mind, my child is punching a pillow beside me and I’m frustrated with so many things...Scorpio Season has me in the throws of some pretty deep shit....however......I really wanted to show you guys some more eco friendly sustainable holiday party outfits with Relived Collection items. So here goes...
We live in pretty cool time where holiday parties don’t just call for prissy cocktail dresses and metallic heels anymore...especially for laid back get togethers . Think outside of the box with vintage leather skirts and satin jackets as tops....the best part about these items is they can be worn numerous ways. Pair a leather skirt with a white tee and chucks and a chunky cardigan day a time look or a silk top and boots for a “Friendsgiving”. Pair a vintage silk jacket with black skinny jeans for a night out or toss over a sweater for a more casual look.
Also, a vintage sequin top is a great piece to get you through the holidays.....tuck it in to high waisted trousers and a blazer for work or pair it with literally anything from jeans to mini skirts for holiday parties.
The thing to remember for sustainable holiday dressing is to pick pieces that be worn numerous ways with items in your existing wardrobe...plus shopping secondhand and vintage is ALWAYS good for the environment 🌿 As I finish this up I grab the pillow my son has been punching and yell “why on earth are you doing that to the pillow?!”....he replies “because it feels really good, you try”.....so I did...I punched the shit out of the pillow numerous times then start crying uncontrollably....hello Mercury Retrograde....😭💔📵
